Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with friends for DS, released in late 2007 is still a top game, and very addicitive. Prepare 80 different gourmet dishes from the palm of your hand with the help of the stylus against the clock, practice with Mama and then test your skill with “Let’s Cook”where you prepare these meals for Mama’s friends and family.
A fun, family favourite where your cooking ability is rated with a score out of 100, while you practice, Mama assesses your cooking during tasks, if you did OK you get a silver medal, if you did well, you get gold, if you messed up, Mama bursts into flames, I mean, she says she’ll fix it. In “Let’s Cook”test your wit by preparing the meals for various people, who will taste the dish and provide feedback. Don’t slip up on the way, or you will have to start again! Do really well and you get bonus items, which you can use to customise Mama’s kitchen, or Mama herself.
Cooking Mama 2 DS is also a fun multiplayer game, link up wirelessly with up to four other Nintendo DS players where you all race each other with minitasks like who can peel the most apples or cut the corn off the cob.
